T Doll Course
On this beginners course you will make one 'T' shaped doll and one set of clothes.
The price is £80 for the entire course including materials, though there is an extra fee of £8 should you choose to use organic fibres.
Materials cost £20, So that's one gorgeous, finished, heirloom doll, clothes and the skills to keep you sewing for £10 per week, over 6 weeks.
I am happy to supply materials for an additional doll or dolls, just let me know.
Novice and beginner sewers are always welcome! It's better if you have your own machine but not essential.
If you or your group would like a doll making course, taster day or even a one off session on something like, dolls hair or clothes then I'd love for you to get in touch.
I also have a two day workshop, or a more simple doll in a day.
If you've already booked a session with me then here is the list of materials I provide.
Carded Fleece (or synthetic equivalent if you prefer, for example for lanolin allergies. organic carded fleece also available) 180g
Cotton Tricot. I stock five colours and can supply organic.
Doll makers long needle
Yarn for hair. This could be single or a mixture of many yarns of the same colour range. I have a mixture of natural yarns including a light auburn/strawberry blonde boucle and a dark brown boucle for curls. Using thin yarn, a long haired doll needs around 30 metres or 25g.
Fabric for clothing. Preferably but not essentially cotton. Clothing fabric will be provided though you may prefer to use something of your own, 40 x 50cm and 20 x 25cm
Please contact me to let me know your choices as soon as posible.
Delivery of materials can take up to five days so it's essential I have the orders a week before the start of the course.
I currently don't have any spaces on a course.
Please contact me if you are interested in learning to sew or sewing something specific.
I work from my home or depending on group size and distance, I can come to you.
